The Mid-Atlantic Regional Cooperative (MARC) invites our members to join us for the 2026 MARC Annual Membership Meeting, October 20–21 in Philadelphia.

This annual gathering is an opportunity for MARC members to connect with one another, hear updates on the cooperative’s operations and financial performance, and share ideas and feedback to help shape the MARC’s work and services in the year ahead.

This year’s meeting will include a tour of the MARC’s Swedesboro facility and a member happy hour on Tuesday, followed by the Annual Membership Meeting at the Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market on Wednesday.

Both in-person and virtual attendees must register by Friday, October 9. Virtual participation will be available for the October 21 Annual Membership Meeting only.

What to Expect

  • Tuesday, Oct. 20

    Swedesboro Tour

    Members attending in person are invited to tour the MARC’s new Swedesboro facility from 3:00-4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. See what makes the MARC run so efficiently, including our state-of-the-art repacking room. Don’t forget to bring a jacket for touring the cold storage areas!

  • Tuesday, Oct. 20

    Member Happy Hour

    After the facility tour, unwind and connect with fellow MARC members over beverages and appetizers at Gatehouse Restaurant from 5:30–7:30 p.m. Join us for a relaxed evening of conversation, networking, and catching up with colleagues from across the MARC.

  • Wednesday, Oct. 21

    Membership Meeting

    Hear key operational and financial updates, join dynamic panel discussions on collaboration opportunities across the FANO netowrk, and share your ideas for how the MARC can better support your food bank’s needs, from logistics to produce, protein, dairy and beyond.

Hotel Accommodations

A discounted room block is available for MARC members at the Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Airport. The deadline to book at the group rate is Friday, October 2. Members who plan to stay overnight are encouraged to reserve their rooms early. The Fairfield Inn will also serve as the departure and return point for Tuesday’s shuttle.

Transportation

Shuttle

Complimentary shuttle transportation will be available for members participating in Tuesday’s activities. The shuttle will depart the Fairfield Inn Philadelphia Airport at 2:00 p.m. for the Swedesboro facility. Following the tour, the shuttle will travel to Gatehouse Restaurant for happy hour and return to the Fairfield Inn at approximately 8:00 p.m.

You must indicate on your registration form whether you plan to use the shuttle. Space will be limited to those who RSVP for the shuttle.

Driving Instructions to Philadelphia Wholesale Produce Market:

  1. The entrance is located off 67th Street, across Essington Avenue from Pacifico Ford.
  2. Enter through Gate #4 "Employee Entrance." You will have to sign in with the guard and show your license; let them know you are here for a meeting with the "MARC Food Bank" and they can have you sign in.
  3. Turn right after the gate and park anywhere you see other cars parked.
  4. Proceed to "Entrance A" at the corner of the building closest to where you entered. There is a large sign for Entrance A on the side of the building.
  5. Follow signs to reach the Market Conference Room on the 2nd floor.
